Shop any UK retailer using your free UK address, and we combine everything into one box and send it to New Zealand in about 2–3 working days. Every parcel is photographed as it arrives, retail packaging comes off to keep the box small, and the price is fixed by box size so you know it before you ship.
A long way from the UK and a market many British retailers simply skip. One box beats paying international postage on every order from shops that ship within the UK only.
The saving is in sending things together. Five orders from five shops is five lots of international postage. One Bringbox is one box, one shipping charge and one delivery, even if your orders arrive over several weeks.
Everywhere with a New Zealand address. Most of our boxes land in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and we deliver just as readily to Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin and Napier.
One flat price for the size of box your things fit into, with a weight allowance included. Adding one more light item usually costs nothing at all, which is the whole point of filling a box rather than sending parcels.
Go over the included weight and it is £8.50 per kilogram to New Zealand, charged only on the excess. Go more than a little over and we move you to the next size up when that works out cheaper. You see this while your box is filling, not after it is weighed.
See the full price guide to New Zealand and work out what your own order would cost before you commit to anything.
Bringbox collects duty and tax upfront and settles them on your behalf, so nothing is owed on delivery. New Zealand also runs biosecurity controls on a par with Australia: food, seeds, plant material, wood and anything of animal origin get real scrutiny, and non-compliant goods are held or destroyed rather than returned.
Rates and thresholds change, so we do not list them here. The New Zealand Customs Service and the Ministry for Primary Industries publish the current rules, and those are the ones that count. Check your specific items before you order.
Separately, some things cannot leave the UK with us at all, no matter where they are going. Our restricted items page covers those, and our groceries guide covers supermarket orders in more detail.
Sign up and you get a free UK address to use at any UK checkout. Every parcel that arrives for you is opened, photographed and added to your box, and the photo reaches you the same working day, so you find out something is wrong while it is still in the UK and still easy to return.
Your box stays open for as long as you like. There is no storage countdown and no daily fee, so you can order across several weeks and send it when it suits you. When you are ready, everything goes as one box with DHL. The full walkthrough.
Questions, answered plainly.
About 2–3 working days from the day your box is dispatched. Boxes go with DHL and reach Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and every other New Zealand address. Before dispatch the timing is up to you: your box stays open as long as you like and only leaves when you say it is ready.
Bringbox charges one flat price for a box size, with a weight allowance included, so you know the cost while the box is still filling rather than after it is weighed. Boxes to New Zealand start at £125.00, and going over the included weight costs £8.50 per kilogram on the excess only, and we move you to the next size up whenever that works out cheaper.
Yes. That is the point of a UK address. Use it at the checkout of any UK retailer that delivers within the United Kingdom, including the many that will not post to New Zealand at all, and your orders come to us instead.
On New Zealand boxes today, duty and tax are settled before your box leaves the UK, so it arrives with nothing more to pay. New Zealand sets its own thresholds and rates, published by its own authorities, and those are the ones to check rather than a figure from a shipping company. Your shipping summary always states whether duty is paid upfront or on arrival, before you pay.
New Zealand sets its own import rules, and some things that travel easily elsewhere are restricted or prohibited there. Check the current guidance from its customs authority for your specific items before you order. Separately, some things cannot leave the UK with us at all, no matter where they are going, and our restricted items page covers those.
