Getting started
What is Bringbox?
Bringbox gives you a UK address of your own. Shop any UK retailer, have it delivered to us, and we combine everything into one box and send it on to you.
How do I get my UK address?
Sign up and it is created straight away. It takes about a minute and there is nothing to pay.
Do I get a UK phone number too?
You have access to a UK mobile number for the verification codes some UK retailers send. Let us know before you shop so we can pass the code back to you.
Is there a subscription?
No. The address is free to hold and there is no monthly fee. You pay once, when you choose to ship a box.
Shipping & delivery
How long does delivery take?
From dispatch it is usually two to three working days, depending on where your box is going. The transit time for each destination is shown on the destinations page, and it excludes customs delays.
When does the delivery time start counting?
From the day your box leaves our warehouse, not from the day your first parcel arrived. Your box stays open as long as you like before that.
Can I track my box?
Yes. You get a tracking number when it ships and can follow it the whole way to your door.
Can I send to more than one address?
Yes. Save several delivery addresses and choose which one a box goes to when you ship it.
Pricing & payment
How is the price worked out?
By the size of box your items fill and where it is going. Each size includes a weight allowance, and anything above that is charged per kilo. See the pricing page for your destination.
When am I charged?
Only when you decide to ship. Nothing is taken while your box is open.
Is the weight estimated?
No. Your box is weighed once, at the moment it is sealed, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
Do you charge for storage?
No. Keeping your box open costs nothing and there is no time limit.
Restricted items
What cannot be shipped?
Aerosols, perfume, vapes, loose batteries and weapons are refused everywhere, and some destinations restrict more. See the restricted items page for the rules that apply to you.
Can batteries travel?
Yes. Up to two lithium batteries per box, and each must be built into the device it powers. Loose cells, spare batteries and power banks cannot travel by air. Ordinary household batteries such as AA, AAA, C and D are fine.
What about food?
Tinned, dried and packaged food is fine, and supermarket orders are welcome. Frozen food, raw meat and fish cannot be shipped at all. Chilled and fresh items can be sent at your own risk, and many customers do send them.
What if I send something restricted?
We hold it, photograph it and contact you. It can go back to the retailer or on to a UK address for the usual return fee, but it will not be put in your box.
Returns
Can I return something before it ships?
Yes. Anything still in your Bringbox can go back to the retailer instead of travelling. We package it and send it to their returns address.
What does a return cost?
£5.99 per item back to a UK retailer, or £24.99 to send a whole box to a UK address.
Your account
Where do I see what has arrived?
Sign in to your Bringbox account from any browser. Every item is photographed as it arrives and appears there, with the current weight and price. We also message you on WhatsApp when a parcel arrives, so you never have to keep checking.
How will I know when something arrives?
You get a WhatsApp message the moment a parcel lands, and it appears in your account within minutes.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes, at any time in your account, right up until you ship a box.
Message us on WhatsApp and a member of the team will answer during office hours, usually within minutes.
