How to shop UK stores from abroad.
To buy from a UK retailer when you live abroad, give them a UK delivery address at the checkout instead of your own. The retailer treats it as a normal UK order, and Bringbox sends it on to you. How to do it, step by step
- Get a UK address. Sign up with Bringbox and your address is ready straight away. It is free and there is no subscription.
- Shop as normal. Browse any UK retailer and add what you want to the basket. Nothing about the shopping changes.
- Paste the address at the checkout. Put your Bringbox address into the delivery field, exactly as it appears in your account. Copy and paste rather than typing it, so nothing gets missed.
- Let the orders arrive. We receive each one, photograph it and add it to your box. You can see what has landed in your account.
- Ship when you are ready. Keep ordering for as long as you like. When it suits you, everything goes as one delivery to your door.
Where to keep your own address
One thing worth getting right. The UK address goes in the delivery field. Your billing address stays as your real one, matching the card you are paying with. Retailers are used to seeing an order delivered to one address and billed to another, so this is normal.
Verification codes

Supermarket and grocery orders
Supermarket shops from Tesco, Asda, Ocado and the rest are welcome, which is how a lot of people get the food they miss. Book the delivery slot for 9am to 11am, Monday to Friday, UK time. Parcels can arrive at any time, but that is the window we recommend, and we cannot guarantee same day processing.
If something goes wrong
The two things that catch people out are both fixable. If you mistype the address, the parcel usually still reaches us but takes longer to match to your account, so tell us the retailer and order number and we will find it. If an order shows as delivered but has not appeared in your account, give it a few hours before worrying, because a courier often scans a whole round as delivered before the parcels are actually checked in.
What will not work
Only one thing, really. Anything you would have to collect in person, such as click and collect or an in store reservation, because nothing is being delivered to us.
Separately, some items cannot travel by air whoever ships them, so it is worth checking the restricted items list before you order rather than after.
